Current Events
Left to right... Top: Kate, Emma, Sarah, Christina, Erin, Emily, Beth, Alison, Carolyn, Coach Beth Middle: Alyssa, Hester, Kaci, Teresa Bottom: Amanda, Jo, Molly, Nicole (the four graduates) 5th place at College Nationals! The ladies traveled to Corvallis, OR to compete at Nationals on Memorial day weekend. After a tough loss to Iowa during pool play, Jäga had to meet with U of Washington in the quarters on Saturday. After a hard fought game, Jäga wasn't able to pull it off. They ended their season in the Quarters at Nationals. The highest ranking NCSU Women's ultimate has ever had and the best record at Nationals ever had by NCSU women.
Molly is in the middle. Jäga's Molly Doyle takes 5th place for Callahan award! The Callahan award is given to the top five women and top five men every year at Nationals. The winners are selected before Nationals based on voting by any college player who chooses to vote. This year Molly Doyle received the 5th most amount of votes of any other woman in the nation. Congratulations to Molly. She deserved it and wouldn't have been able to do it without her team.
Left to right... 2005 Atlantic Coast Regional Champions! Congratulations to Jäga for winning their first ever region championship. Jäga took the one bid to nationals from the Atlantic coast and moved up to the number 2 seed in the nation at www.upa.org. The team will be traveling to Corvallis, OR memorial day weekend to compete at nationals.
